How to Log into the Gmail App with Your Eastern Email Address

1. Download the Gmail App
   If you don’t already have the Gmail app installed, download it from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).

2. Open the Gmail App
   Launch the app on your device.

3. Add a New Account

   • Tap your profile picture or initial at the top-right corner of the app.
   • Select “Add another account” from the dropdown menu.

4. Select Account Type

   • Choose Google if prompted to select an account type.

5. Enter Your Eastern Email Address

   • Input your full Eastern email address (e.g., yourusername@eastern.edu).
   • Tap Next.

6. Sign in via SSO (Single Sign-On)

   • You will be redirected to the Eastern University Single Sign-On (SSO) page.
   • Enter your Eastern username and password.
   • Tap Sign In.

7. Complete the Login

   • If prompted, follow additional verification steps (e.g., two-factor authentication).
   • Grant permissions if requested by the app.

8. Start Using Gmail
   Once signed in, your Eastern email inbox will sync, and you’ll be able to access your messages directly from the Gmail app.
